RACHAEL FERGUSON

Rachael Ferguson is a playwright and performer from Seattle, Washington. The themes of her work consistently play with happenstance, Black Americana, pop trivia and spectacle. Her last production was The Oh, My God, It's So True Story of Halybere, a short play about a quirky muse and her even quirkier family, initially produced for the 2007 Creation Project by The Central District Forum for Arts and Ideas, Seattle's Bumbershoot Festival 2008 and The Tank Theater in NYC 2011. She is also the lead singer and keyboardist for NighTrain, an American indie-rock band.

In Mumbai, Rachael Ferguson, will continue the work she began as a Guest at the 2012 Spring Tea in Seattle, exploring voice, race, and performance through a Post-Colonial lens.
