"In Mumbai, my project will examine intimacy, such that the action of drinking tea will have guests share the experience of someone else drinking tea in another place (possibly) and time, but as though being done here and now, from the same cup.  Instead of the tea tea tray, the teacup itself will become the projection surface and the sequence played therein is a short video of someone drinking tea, as seen from within the teacup.  In this way I mean to invoke a sense of deep intimacy, bridging the gap of time between the past and present."
