Shelly Jyoti is a visual artist, fashion designer, poet, and independent researcher whose research centers on design and visual representation of 20th century textiles and costumes. Her writings and paintings have been published in India & internationally. She is presently working on ‘Azrak Initiative’ project to preserve the Azrak resist dyeing & printing technique with Bhuj (Gujarat) craftsmen and giving them a design direction through her vision and experience.
